The Revell Downs Tree Planting Proposal prepared by Resident, Jeffrey Popp (Director of Restoration Watershed Stewards Academy) for planting on East College Parkway has been approved. Planting consists of understory and canopy trees native to Maryland along with alternating evergreen and flowering shrubs along the concrete border. This is the first phase of revitalizing our community grounds along the trail.
The images below are from the Proposal. The first photo (in each group of 3) shows a current image. The second photo is the proposed planting plan. The third photo is the proposed vision.
This phase of planting is sheduled to begin in mid April. You may have notice red flags all along this area. These flags are for the proposed planting.
Additional planting (not pictured) includes a dozen American Holly Trees to be planted on the western side of Revell Downs Commuity entrance.
